Dr. Berg talks about iron deficient anemia. It could be a lowered RBCs, heme or a decreased ability to carry oxygen. The symptoms include: fatigue, the need to chew ice, weak, shortness of breath and looking pale.

It could be caused by blood loss (menstruation, trauma or medication), a fibroid, infection, genetic or….a decreased absorption.
The big cause is lowered stomach acid (low HCL). Anti-acids can keep your stomach too alkaline preventing the absorption of iron. This is why apple cider vinegar to help this.
